In 2018 Aster Family Support were successful in securing funding for the development of a new Family Resource Centre (FRC) in Balbriggan. Funding was granted for 11 new Family Resource Centres which brings the number of Centres around the country to 120. The Family Resource Centre (FRC) is Ireland’s largest National Family and Community-based support programme, core funded by Tusla-The Child and Family Agency.
The aim of the National FRC programme is to combat disadvantage and improve the functioning of the family unit. Aster Family Resource Centre is now based at 1 Georges Square, Balbriggan, Co Dublin.
