Aster Family Support offers a range of services to support families. Each service has different pathways for families to become involved with different forms for each - including options for professionals to refer families they work with, and families to express an interest themselves. Please complete the relevant forms and return to us as directed on the form itself - if you're unsure of the relevant service or which form to complete please call our team on (01) 516 1146 and we'll talk you through the process.

FAMILY SUPPORT

Family Support works to increase a family’s capacity for self-sufficiency by building on strengths, enhancing life skills and strengthening community linkages. Supports are generally provided to families in their own homes and communities.

HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANCE

The household assistance programme helps with household challenges like budgeting, housing issues, social welfare applications, managing bills, and signposting to other services.

MEITHEAL

The Meitheal model focuses on identifying a child or family’s needs and strengths, and brings together a team of service practitioners to form a "team around the child" and collaborate on providing the support that they need.

TRIPLE P

Triple P is a positive parenting programme that is a flexible, practical way to develop skills, strategies and confidence to handle any parenting situation. We run small group sessions of 6-8 people and home-based sessions to suit families’ needs.
