What to Expect
Family_Graphic

Aster Family Support works with all kinds of families providing different services over varying lengths of time. The first time a family meets a Support Worker they’ll explain better what they to expect from the service and from our team.

For every family there are overall things they can expect from Aster Family Support and that we expect from the families we work with:

What you can expect from us

  • We’re a warm and friendly team - we love the job we do in the community and think you’ll see that
  • We’re non-judgmental & will respect you and your wishes
  • We’ll take time to get to know you, your strengths and needs, and create services to suit your individual family
  • We’ll be open & honest with you
  • We’ll keep you in the driving seat of your family life and the future you want
  • We take pride in providing services for families with diverse cultures, and make sure what we do fits with your culture

What we expect from you

  • That you’ll actively engage with us
  • That you’ll be open & honest, and keep us in the loop if things change in your family’s life
  • That you’ll let us know what’s working for you, and what’s not, so we can tailor services to be their best for you
  • That you’ll report any concerns or feedback to the Aster Family Support Manager
  • That you’ll let us know if you can’t make it to a planned meeting or appointment and you need to change the time or day

If your family has feedback for us, or wants to make a complaint they should contact the Aster Family Support Manager via (01) 516 1146.
