Preparing For Life Home Visiting Programme.

In 2023 AFS received funding for the roll out of the Preparing for Life, Home visiting Programme in the Balbriggan area.

Preparing for Life is a home visiting programme that supports families from pregnancy until your child starts school. The programme is a great way to support you as a parent in your own community on your journey as a parent. The home visitor will meet with you to discuss all things parenting, build on your confidence, support you develop more positive relationships with your children and to help you enjoy being a parent.

The programme was extended in 2024 to also include the areas of Rush, Lusk and Skerries.
